If there was any doubt left about whether or not American universities have a liberal bias, it's certainly gone now.
Last week Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism announced that it was awarding Al Jazeera English with its highest award for "great service in bringing the English-speaking world in-depth coverage of the turmoil in the Middle East.” Dean Nicholas Lemann continued the sentiment stating "We salute its determination to get to the heart of a complicated story unfolding in countries where news has historically been difficult to cover."
The state-funded network known for its support of radicals and less than subtle anti-American propaganda will receive the award during graduation ceremonies later this month.
