Bernanke: Economic Slowdown A "Temporary Setback."

How many setbacks can the U.S. possibly handle?

The saying goes something like "God doesn't give you more than you can handle." I wonder if that sentiment can be applied to countries like it applies to people. Then again, Liberals tend to disregard that kind of "jargon" and behave as if they're Gods, so they probably aren't too concerned with pushing the country to it's breaking point. But, I digress.

Yesterday the Federal Reserve revealed that once again, we witnessed an economic slowdown last quarter. Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Reserve is brushing off the signifigance of the news and saying it's a "temporary setback." 

How many more setbacks can the U.S. possibly handle? Gas prices are skyrocketing, the cost of food is astronomical and the value of the dollar continues to decline.  

It's a wonder that this country even has a problem with immagration. Who in their right mind would want to jump a fence into this mess?
