First Lady Michelle Obama is following the tradition of prior administrations and hosting a poetry evening on Wednesday night.

If you're expecting to see a group of literary geniuses converge, don't hold your breath. Included in the list of invitees is Chicago rapper and poet, Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr., AKA “Common," famous for waxing poetic about shooting police and "burning" former President George W. Bush.
