Tax cuts increase tax revenue. Tax revenues increased by more than 60 percent during the 1960s, after President John F. Kennedy lowered tax rates. President Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts generated a more than 50 percent increase in tax revenues during the 1980s. This is contrary to liberal beliefs, because the facts do not support their redistributionist ideology.
